Jacksonville Home Center was opened in 2007 after it was purchased by Oxford Lumber. It was formerly Jacksonville Building Supply. Once purchased, the store was doubled in size. Lumber racks were erected on the yard, and a staff was hired. Jessica Nabors (Store Manager), still works in the store today.

Today, Jacksonville Home Center is a full line home improvement center featuring the major departments of Ace Hardware paint and accessories, hand & power tools, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, hardware, lawn and garden, lumber, plywood, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, doors and windows, and moulding and trim.
